BlackBerry Recognized as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant for Unified Endpoint Management Tools

WATERLOO, Ontario, July 26, 2018 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — BlackBerry Limited (NYSE:BB) (TSX:BB) today announced it has been positioned in the Leaders quadrant by Gartner, Inc., the leading provider of research and analysis on the global information technology industry, in the 2018 Gartner Magic Quadrant for Unified Endpoint Management Tools. The Magic Quadrant evaluates the ability to execute and completeness of vision for vendors in the unified endpoint management (UEM) market.

BlackBerry was one of five UEM vendors to be positioned in the Leaders quadrant this year.

“Whether you’re a fleet manager that uses smart sensors to track and monitor your assets or a hospital administrator who relies on the interaction of patient and personnel data along with sophisticated and simple equipment to deliver high-quality care, being able to manage an enterprise of IoT devices is quickly becoming the new norm for businesses across all industries,” said Billy Ho, EVP of Enterprise Products at BlackBerry. “By leveraging the BlackBerry UEM platform, enterprises can manage a large fleet of diverse and connected devices from a single console, while ensuring the necessary compliance, privacy, and security needed in today’s hyperconnected world.”
