Business First Bancshares, Inc. announces Change of Location of the Special Meeting of Shareholders to be Held on April 14, 2020

BATON ROUGE, La., March 31, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Business First Bancshares, Inc. (NASDAQ: BFST) (Business First), parent company of b1BANK, Baton Rouge, Louisiana, announced today that due to the emerging public health impact of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic, the location of Business First’s special meeting of shareholders to be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2020 at 8:00 a.m. Central Time (the “Special Meeting”) has been changed and will be held in a virtual meeting format only. The purpose of the Special Meeting is to consider and vote on certain proposals relating to the previously announced Agreement and Plan of Reorganization, dated as of January 22, 2020, by and between Business First and Pedestal Bancshares, Inc.
