Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp IV Announces Stockholder Approval of Extension of Deadline to Complete Business Combination

NEW YORK, Aug. 27, 2020 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — Hennessy Capital Acquisition Corp. IV (“HCAC”) (NASDAQ: HCAC) announced today that its stockholders approved an extension of the date by which it has to complete a business combination from September 5, 2020 to December 31, 2020. HCAC requested the extension in order to complete the previously announced proposed business combination (the “Canoo Transaction”) with Canoo Holdings Ltd.
