MarketAxess Announces Monthly Volume Statistics for December 2018

NEW YORK, Jan. 03, 2019 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) — MarketAxess Holdings Inc. (Nasdaq: MKTX), the operator of a leading electronic trading platform for fixed-income securities, and the provider of market data and post-trade services for the global fixed-income markets, today announced total monthly trading volume for December 2018 of $131.2 billion, consisting of $74.4 billion in U.S. high-grade volume, $52.4 billion in other credit volume, and $4.4 billion in liquid products volume.

The Company also reported preliminary total variable transaction fees per million (“FPM”) of $173 for the quarter ended December 31, 2018. The FPM for the quarter ended December 31, 2018 are preliminary and may be revised in subsequent updates and public filings.
